Shimanto chickens are raised in Kochi surrounded by clean mountain air, where the pristine Shimanto River flows. The chickens are fed a combination of corn, seaweed, wood vinegar and mugwort, to produce rich meat with a slight sweetness. Shimanto chicken is processed to strict hygiene standards and vacuum sealed for delivery.
