Konatsu, also known as "New Summer Orange", has a sweet, juicy and refreshingly tart flesh. The flesh is surrounded by a smooth yellow outer rind and a soft white pith. The pith can be eaten along with the fruit. The aromatic zest is ideal for use in sweets, as an accent for seafood dishes, or to infuse alcohol.
